Star Gospel Mission’s Human Services Associate developed an interest in social work through a stay in a women’s shelter, after leaving an abusive relationship with her four-month-old daughter.

Star Gospel Mission is in the preliminary stages of adding 24 additional affordable housing units as part of the highly anticipated development plans for phase three of Courier Square.

Through its partnership with Charleston’s Adult Drug Court, Star Gospel Mission provides a place for men accused of drug-related crimes to build a more stable, addiction-free future.
