Building on a Foundation of Faith

A home is built with more than lumber and nails. It is built with purpose, care, and the hope of what can happen within its walls.

As construction continues on the new Morning Light home, our Program Department took a meaningful step by placing Scripture within the foundation and wood of the building. These words are a reminder of the faith at the heart of this work and the hope we pray this home will hold for the women and children who will one day live there.

Morning Light is about more than providing a place to stay. It is about creating a safe, supportive environment where women and children can find stability, begin to heal, and take steps toward a brighter future.

As the building takes shape, we are reminded that the foundation of this work extends beyond the structure itself. It is grounded in compassion, strengthened by community, and guided by our commitment to serve.

We look forward to the day this home welcomes its first families and becomes a place where hope can take root and grow.
