Growing More Than a Garden

Thanks to the caring hands of volunteers from East Cooper Baptist Church, the gardens at Star Gospel Mission are flourishing with fresh vegetables, herbs, and colorful flowers. Their time and dedication have created more than a beautiful space. They have helped cultivate nourishment, hospitality, and hope.

Throughout the growing season, our Kitchen Associate, Ms. Mel, harvests fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden to prepare homemade meals for our guests. At the same time, blooming flowers brighten our campus, creating a warm, welcoming environment that reminds everyone who walks through our doors that they are valued and cared for.

This partnership is a beautiful example of how simple acts of service can have a lasting impact. Every seed planted, every flower tended, and every harvest shared reflects Christ's love in a tangible way.

To the volunteers of East Cooper Baptist Church, thank you for helping us grow hope, one garden bed at a time.
